A favorite quote of mine stems from the renowned Nigerian novelist, Ben Okri, who once said that we are not only born into stories but also born from them. The story that birthed me has brought me from the coast of Mombasa, Kenya, to the bustling city of Pretoria, South Africa, which I am proud to call but a chapter of my life. In my latest and greatest chapter, I've been in pursuit of a Digital Arts and Sciences degree at the University of Florida, where I have found a passion for sharing my story while building meaningful connections and learning from my peers. I have also found that much of my heritage - both Kenyan and South African - is left to be explored in the realm of digital art; hence, part of my goal as a creator and storyteller is to share the cultural beauty that stems from the heart and soul of Africa through the characters I design and the animated stories I bring to life.
